How do artists respond to the instant gratification that the Internet has accustomed us to expect and its attendant impatience? Do artists have a social responsibility to address the culture of speed? Can their work constitute a kind of politics? For all their experimentation, these artists share a common goal: to capture “life passing by in front of us.”
