The Wide Angle Virtual Environment (WAVE) is a Holodeck of sorts, connecting spatially distributed research teams working on big-data challenges. WAVE is part of the NSF funded MRI-SCOPE project, or Scalable Omnipresent Environment, for distributed big data visualization serving as both a microscope and telescope, while enabling users to explore data from the nano to micro to macro to mega scale and to explore a multitude of grand-challenges in the sciences, engineering and the arts.

WAVE demos invite audience members in 10 at a time. 4-day pass holders get priority entry.
